Based on the biography “The Man Who Knew Infinity”: A Life of the Genius Ramanujan by Robert Kanigel.
“The Man Who Knew Infinity” is the story of math genius Srinivasa Ramanujan (portrayed by Dev Patel) and G.H. Hardy (played by Jeremy Irons) who recognized Ramanujan’s brilliance despite the latter’s lack of formal training and education and plucked him from obscurity in Edwardian India.
